Good news for all the players! The location has a special Tropical Roof. This means that even when climate change hits hard, and it will be 34 degrees celsius outside it will still be possible to play…

And of course there wil. be cold beer.

Car
Easy to reach from the East.
Location is nearby freeway to Hamburg / Denmark:

Plane

While its easily accessible by car, coming by plane is a different story. The connection from Schiphol Airport to Shockland with public transport is quite challenging. This means we ask our guests to come by car as much as possible but if you prefer to come by plane, no worries cause we came up with the following plan:

ARRIVAL

Transportation from Schiphol Airport to Shockland location Friday:

• For our international guests arriving at Schiphol Airport we ask you to take the train from Schiphol Airport to Lelystad Centrum (departure around every 10-15 min. 45 mins of travel) see here:

• Before traveling by train you can:

+ Pre order tickets online at: www.ns.nl/en/tickets/order/buy-tickets
+ Check in/out with debet card or phone at train station
        This trip costs around 14 Euros.

• We will pick you up at Lelystad Centrum train station and bring you to the Schokland location (about a 25 minute drive)

DEPARTURE

Transportation from location Shockland to Schiphol Airport on Monday:
We will rent a van and be doing 1 or 2 rides to Schiphol Airport (8 persons possible per ride):
-Ride 1 at 8:15 am: Should be arriving at Schiphol Airport between 9:10-9:40 am (8 spots free)
-Ride 2 at 11 am: Should be arriving at Schiphol Airport between 12:00-12:30 pm (8 spots free)

So in case more than 8 players come by plane, it would be nice to be able to divide the people between 2 rides and arrange them according to departure times. Check and let us know !!BEFORE!! you book your flight which options are still viable.

For all international guests coming by plane -> We will make a Whatsapp group to arrange and organise everything travel related. For all your questions about transportation you can reach out to M4RK on Whatsapp / Discord.

Welcome back to the Netherlands! For the third time in its history, Sensible Days is coming back to the land of clogs, tulips and cheese!
This time we are proud to welcome you to a new location: “De Pionier” (the pioneer), in Schokland. 
It is only 1 hour from Amsterdam, 1 hour from Almelo, 5 hours from Fulda, 5 1/2 hours from Pirmasens, 6 1/2 hours from Berlin, 7 hours from Billund, 8 1/2 hours from Lubin, 9 hours from Wroclaw, 10 hours from Bierdzany, 11 hours from Bielsko-Biala, 13 hours from Budapest, 15 hours from Barcelona, 27 hours from Varna and only 174 hours from Cape Town! (all distances by car, stops and “Stau” not included).

A few quick things we would like to mention.

There are 44 beds.
Eight meals will be provided (Friday evening, Saturday three meals, Sunday three meals, Monday breakfast) including snacks and so on.
A bed for three nights including all eight meals and drinks will cost 170 euros.
Information on shorter stays, less meals etc will posted soon.
We are going to play PC on Saturday and Amiga on Sunday.
Arrivals from Friday 17.00. We have to leave before Monday 10.00.
We hope to play Classic Sensi and X-Box tournaments, and maybe some other games too!
